I decided to raise the barge and shack from the seafloor. Some are still floating while some have been dilapidated asunder. There is an extensive network of barges and makeshift island homes constructed from various materials along the coast. For Bethesda fans and people like myself this is already interesting and makes you wonder about the history of this location.How long was the barge floating? When was it commandeered? Did people live on it? What caused it to sink? and etc. The barge and shack on top already existed in the game albeit sunken to the seafloor in shambles. The story behind the barge and shack is actually pretty cool. Due to pop-ins it doesn't appear right away it will appear once you are close enough.
Keep swimming - it's there, you'll find it. Out in the ocean to the East of Fort Strong you will find an unmarked location: an abandoned floating barge hideout which contains loot and other things.
Buoyant suits help to maneuver in the water they increase swim speed.
